Nice course, well maintained, greens ran true and better than a lot in the area for the £25 green fee bracket. Not to hilly walking it, would definitely play again and would recommend. No driving range or bunker to practice though, just 2 nets and a putting green. members,great pro shop and course and well stocked bar. This was my first visit to this golf club in Accrington. The layout and the design of the course is pretty good and reasonably challenging. Part of the course is undergoing repairs and maintenance but we managed to play 14 holes without any problems. I have not given an appropriate star rating because many parts of the course was waterlogged and very muddy to play a proper game. Of course, this is no fault of the management as it had rained heavily recently. I shall return to play here, hopefully on a dryer course, and make a better judgement before awarding any stars. Thanks to my playing buddies, Baz and Ben, for the invite which was much appreciated. You have to think your way around this course. Really tricky layout, not as long as others, but if you don’t hit fairways trouble isn’t far away. Greens are a real test throughout the year. Really membership and welcoming environment. Reasonably and realistically priced - a bargain and certainly amongst the best in the area. Super fast greens even in April. Pie peas and gravy hit the spot Great course. Played with two members, Dave and Rog, who were good company all the way round. Highly recommend the course, the only negative was there’s no kitchen at the moment. Conflicting information given during a comp with the President being quite disorganised and then trying to blame everyone else despite it being primarily his fault. The staff is friendly, the pitch is fine) We come here often! What a wonderful, club. We recently had a knockout competition against Accrington. The course was lovely, but very testing. The members were extremely friendly, but best of all was the meat and potato pie after....
