Could be good, but felt quite rundown and messy Great place to spend time with the dogs Beautiful place to relax especially on a weekend or public holiday. Always packed with people due to the number of activities in the park. The heritage is kind of a blended together with Preston and people from far away Knaresborough, Harrogate, Thirsk and Northallerton all the park. Enjoy! 👍🏽 Great outdoor a d area for young and old Walking along the Tees Heritage makes for a pleasant afternoon and is a lovely place to stroll. We are lucky to have such places of open access on our doorsteps. Go explore and have fun and watch out for all the wildlife available. Lush 💛 Fantastic place to visit, we were lucky enough to see on a heritage weekend so free entry. Very good outdoor activity area for children. Great skate on site and walks on the river Tees with boat rides / hire available. Impressive gardens and lots of activities / events on throughout the year. Will be back again for sure. Its a beautiful place to go for a walk and right on the doorstep so to speak. Great for dog walking along the river in the woods or if you feel a little more adventurous down by the nature reserve. If your really lucky you'll get to see some deer roaming loose . Loved the museum great history with in.. and victorian Street...bought some sweet from the old confectionery shop...had tea, scone and a slice of very nice cake in the tea room...not able to enter garden must be a seasonal thing only...lots of space in the grounds and a few walks around for different abilities...butterfly world was closed...great skating park...only 1 down point was the big avery.. which is left derelict...a bit of a blight on a great park.. A nice woodland walk by the river Love the nature BUT, footpaths in need of attention, and no bins for rubbish or poo bags. If you drive to it when the fishing is on you can't get parked, so beware. Also land up for sale to the right of it becoming an eye sore for fly tipping and plastic waste from horse bails. On the upside by the river is lovely and it is good for dog walking. Lovely calm place for a walk next to the River Tees Lovely place for a day out Nice for picnics and to take the kids. Another great on the outskirts of Middlesborough, good toilets and café, well worth a Some nice free spots for fishing, very tidy area and well maintained. Good for walking the family dog, lots of open spaces. What a beautiful, Park, pleasant, friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful landscape and museum. This experience brought back so many memories. Advise All to Preston Park. Only £5 for a full year family pass....how cost effective is this! A fab, memorable visit. Brilliant adventure playground for young children and older kids. Lovely and very good value. My children 6 and 2 had a fun day out in the Autumn sunshine. Would definitely return.
