We got here a little early to find our table was already setup and waiting for us, there were a family of 4 we all sat down to enjoy our lunch. The promptly took our drinks order which took a few minutes to arrive whilst we were all browsing through the menus. I placed the order. We didn't have to wait to long for the starters to be served. The starters were cleared. The mains followed shortly after, and it was great. Chicken was covered in BBQ/Bacon & loads of cheese, Deep dished Lasagne & a double stacked Burger all served with chips. We were asked several times if all was OK - it was, and drinks orders were taken when needed and arrived within a few minutes as well. I cleared my plate and finished off a few others - and left satisfied. Such a lovely place, so glad this has reopened, the refurb is amazing, feels so warm.and homely. The and owners are so polite and friendly and the homemade food was amazing!! Sorry about the photos, we just started to tuck in before they were taken lol. Definitely would recommend again and again. 😃👍🥂 Nice warm welcome. Restaurant very clean and we'll presented. Service was quick and food was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Cozy nice decorated pub. The beer (coor) on tap was warm and so was the heineken from the fridge. While ordering you could here someone throwing smth and swearing from the kitchen. We waited 45min for our food, only 4-5 other guests. The burger was really disappointing. It was nnot made there it was a chewy hard factory burger, the cheese was a big hard lump, the burger sauce was missing, the chips were tasteless and floury. My daughter's garlic chicken was tasteless, the sauce just cream and the same sas chips. The coleslaw was dry on top. Although we were very hungry, we could not eat the food. No one came to ask if the food was ok, so for the first time in my life I took the food back and asked for half the money back. The waiter took the food to the kitchen, from which loud angry screams began to be heard. The waiter came back and looked distressed, returned some of the money. The probably tried their best but were not professionals, the chef seems to hate his job was scary and rude. I have never seen anything like this, wouldn't go back. Very accommodating for a family gathering of 14, including 6 children. As it was a beautiful day we enjoyed sitting in the pleasant beer garden. First walked in a was nervous but was lovely and even the people dining or drinking there were lovely too! Helpful when we asked questions and welcomed our dog too. Have a pub or restaurant bit which is nice to get away from noise if you have a baby or dog. The desert was super amazing! Very thick custard 🍮 enjoyable for drinks or last minute date night food out. Happy that my dog was welcomed and well fussed by and other customers Met a friend for a Sunday dinner - the carvery was absolutely delicious and plentiful. were very helpful and polite. Definitely comes with a high recommendation from me! Just came back from the millers arm. Im not one to normally complain, but totally disappointed I honestly dont know how the chef could cook the chips which were cold tasted awful and serve them like that. Onion rings all burnt. We choose the millers arms as local and wanted to support a local pub. It was booked for my birthday and was embarrassing.
