I brought my mother here today as she used to. Come. Here years ago and pulling into the very spacious car park which conveniently has electric car charging ports. We parked up and came into the lounge but went down stairs to the bar it was very cool so nice with there A. C ON. They have a menu and I didn't have to go through it for myself as the man who I forgot to to get his name told me that fresh out of the oven steak and ale pie with chips and peas and side salad and I have to say it was such a size meal and it was delicious. My mum had the Gower Lamb chops and they were cooked perfect. There is lots of room and they make coffee, we had Latte's it's wheel chair accessible also. The menu items are choice the price was very good. My mum also had a dessert brownie and Madagascar Vanilla Ice Cream. It was really tasty. We then had a chat with 2 members and they told us about there Sunday dinners they have different sizes and different choices of meats small medium and large. We loved the food and the and we will be returning. Residential town location offering mostly flat overnight parking in return for eating or drinking in the pub. Little on offer within walking distance, but one of only three pubs on Gower offering overnight stays. Dog friendly, and very welcome to the traditional pub atmosphere. Really let down by the limited menu, nothing like the one shown online, and much of which was not available when we stayed. We gave up waiting for our deserts which did not arrive. A wonderful pub off the beaten track. A warm, welcome upon arrival makes all the difference to a passing stranger. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the steak, cooked to perfection, and melted in the mouth. All 5 meals were tasty and cooked to the liking of our party. Unfortunately, they had run out of 0% Guinness, but plenty of other 0% options. Maybe, just a suggestion, chunky chips would take it to the next level. I stopped in here with my elderly mother, and we were immediately grateful for the EV chargers in the carpark. Osprey are not the cheapest, but they're always reliable. After parking we found easy, flat access to the restaurant section. Anybody with mobility issues will find it easy to get in and out. There's a large beer garden, with heaters for a chilly night, that's also accessible. Service was great. The landlord and were and helpful. And the bar, lounge, restaurant, and toilets were clean and well kept. We had lamb chops and a burger, and the was very good. The meat is fresh, and locally sourced, and you can taste it. The burger was cooked on a proper griddle, and was hand made from quality beef. It was delicious. Prices were what we're slowly coming to expect these days. Between £15 to £20. But the days of £10 meals are behind us now. All in all, very and highly recommended. Loved it!!! First of all Alan and Elena are the friendliest and kindest persons ever we got super welcome by them. The is excellent. Then the food, so yummy. We had the Hunter chicken very generous portions and cooked perfectly the chicken was tender and juicy. Finally the drinks!! Tons of options and prices. We stopped in here for lunch on a hike as it fell at the halfway point for our loop - it was honestly incredible! Juicy meats, epic gravy, a sunny garden and service. Couldn’t have asked for more! Like a lot of people, we've driven past the Beaufort Arms, making a mental note to "try it out some day soon". Well, that day arrived and this pub exceeded our expectations. Warmly welcomed the minute we arrived, our dog given a bowl of meat scraps which he wolfed down! A nice selection of beer, lager and cider plus wines and soft drinks. I opted for a pint of Neck Oil (Beavertown) which is not easy to "keep" but which was served perfectly. As it was a Sunday, the roasts were on offer - the medium one had a choice of 2 meats from beef, turkey and lamb. We also tried the gammon, egg and chips as well. All the food arrived hot, very generous portions and homemade. Meat is sourced locally. Homemade gravy as well and polite, to go with it. Tremendous value for money and certainly not the last time we will visit. Highly recommended - do not be swayed by other "reviews" with less than 5 contributions! The quality of the food is very good. value for money, well prepared and nicely served. The were - service, and very helpful. The only negative aspect is the actual building. The garden is scruffy and tired, hosepipes And power cables lying around. Weeds everywhere. The internal decor is very tired, scruffy handrails and paintwork on handrails and walls. There are piles of stuff lying around - toilet rolls stacked up behind the bar, boxes of supplies, mops buckets etc lying around all over the place. Just really messy. The building needs some investment and the daily regime needs to includes thorough cleaning and tidying which is not happening. Having said all the, the chef knows what he/shes doing and the bar and servers are delightful. The menu is fairly limited standard pub grub but has some local produce and is relatively inexpensive. A rustic pub with a large undercover beer garden and ample parking with EV charging points. We went for Sunday Roast here today and had the very best welcome and a fabulous meal.Dogs are not merely tolerated but totally spoilt, in the kindest possible way. The owners and their team are so and totally get what top class customer is all about. This place will now feature regularly on our social agenda and I can highly recommend to everyone. My partner and I had a delicious Homemade Vegetarian Lasagne at the Beaufort Arms. The pub itself was and cosy. Fantastic night overnighting in the carpark and had a very enjoyable evening. Drink and food were the team were fantastic and couldn’t have done more to make me and my dog more comfortable. Sometimes loeople can be awkward when you are in your own but nit at the Beaufort Arms Kittle. Highly recommend x and chatty environment, were more like friends which was wonderful. homemade food, the smells from the kitchen were lovely. So happy to see a pool table that only charges 50p a play!!! And darts outside, but didn't get a chance to have a go. Dog friendly, and a number of outdoors areas to enjoy. Wow this place is absolutely amazing! On arrival for our evening meal which was 5 of our family, we were greeted by the most from the (John) and also Alan the manager. We hadn’t booked in advance but that was no problem for them. The food was gorgeous, I highly recommend the home made pie and also the gammon. was impeccable from all staff. We even asked if there was any chance that they could fit us in for Sunday lunch the following day and thankfully they managed to get us a table. The Sunday lunch is beautiful and all fresh local produce which was very impressive. Again the was extremely impressive. Myself and my family will definitely be returning to this gem of a place. We visited to celebrate my granddaughter’s birth. There were eight of us in the party and as we all live in the village we anticipated staying for some time, including dinner. Whilst buying our second round we were initially refused in spite of being decent customers, drinking quietly on the terrace. The landlord eventually agreed to serve that round but no more. We asked why but no explanation was forthcoming. The accessible toilet was dirty, smelly and the loo roll dispenser was empty with the loo rolls placed on the cistern. Not ideal if you are disabled, as I am. The men’s toilet has no lock on the cubicle. The terrace has cigarette ends littered all over it. The disabled parking spots were used by people not displaying blue badges. There was a clearly underage child drinking alcohol openly, in sight of staff. There was a strong smell of weed from some members of who also behaved as if they were under the influence. All in all, we felt very unwelcome and in spite of it being our “local” and within walking distance for all of us, we won’t be returning. Marstons should be ashamed of this being one of their pubs. Fabulous food, service, super hosts, motorhomes welcomed (with purchase of food and drink which is absolutely fine). Our dog Lwsi was also welcomed to which we appreciated. They were happy to share local knowledge of places to visit. The food was excellent and they have gluten free options available too. The lounge bar was busy with a (1/3/25). We stayed in our motorhome in the carpark which they are happy to accommodate if they have space. Would definitely use the Beaufort Arms again for a stop over and dinner Absolutely fantastic meal - we were a really large party. Most of us had the Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. Our son had the ribs and he said they were great. The owners were and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
