We have been agreed by phone at 10:00 to come for lunch at 11:00, after arrival waitress (and kitchen) stated to have no food available, not even in next 2 hours... :-( Calling back the phone that promised the lunch - not even an apologize... Great beer, tasty garlic soup, fast service, nice view and understandable prices. Child & dog friendly. Very nice terrace. Perfect location for chilling after hiking surrounding mountains. Koliba is a good place to stop by after hiking or a walk in Sulovske skaly to get a refreshment enjoying original Kofola drink or a beer. It has a stunning location with picturesque view on the rocks, to the valley and village Sulov-Hradna. There is a traditional slovak kitchen. The food is ok however I wouldn't recommend for dining out unless you are hungry and have no other option. I recommend this place to all of you. Great place to stay if you want to visit Sulov. It’s in great distance to tourist routes, the acommodation was clean and very pretty, the view is amazing and the meal and the prices are good as well. 10/10 and i will come Back someday for sure. Big hearty meals Prekrásne prostredie,príjemná obsluha, chutné jedlá. 45 min sme čakali na obsluhu - márne a pritom neboli obsadené ani všetky stoly. Vyše 45 min čakať na to aby sme si vôbec mohli objednať je vrchol. Počas tých 45 min k nám 2x prišla mladá čašníčka a keď sme sa jej opýtali či si môžeme objednať povedala, že máme počkať. Po 45min sme to vzdali a odišli. The food is really good. The restaurant has a playground in the back so that your kids could go play on it. The service was pretty slow, but it was still great. I definitely recommend it if your in town Koliba veľmi pekná, škoda toho dlhého čakania na nápoje (cca 30 min) a potom ďalších 40 min na jedlo, ktoré bolo fajn, avšak ceny boli trošku prestrelené vzhľadom na kvalitu jedla a dobu čakania. Beautiful surroundings, nice and helpful staff and very reasonable prices. We had only drinks and desserts but the home-made chocolate brownie was fabulous👍 Highly recommended. Pekná koliba v krásnom prostredí z milou obsluhou a veľmi dobrým jedlom, určite sa tu ešte vrátime.🥰 Po 4 hodinovej túre človek zavíta, aby sa z chuti najedol a zahrial. Vnútri k dispozícií 2 stoly, zvyšok uzavretý pre ubytovaných hostí. Tak sme nútení si sadnúť von a nakoniec čakať vyše polhodiny na druhé jedlo po vydaní polievky, keď človek úplne vychladol, ostala mu zima a aj prešla chuť. Bez vyzvania obsluhy a pýtania sa, by sme nedostali vysvetlenie, ani ospravedlnenie, ani deku. Vyhovárať sa na ubytovaných hostí nám nepríde adekvátne (viete, akú máte kapacitu ubytovania a koľko jedál bude treba pripraviť, aby hostia zdĺhavo nečakali, proste zlá logistika kuchyne pravdepodobne). Škoda, lebo lokalita je krásna a pokazilo nám to dojem z turistiky. Jediné pozitívum boli bratia Češi, ktorí nám to nekonečné čakanie spríjemnili hraním na gitaru a spevom.
