I've given it 5 stars for the sheer beauty of it. If you're looking to come to the harbour , bear in mind that the car park is seriously height restricted to 6'6" this is very low. There are a few spaces outside the barrier. You would need to be early to avail of them. Especially on a good day. Most people who come here do so for the access to a slip to either paddle board or kayak. If your kayaking. Be aware of the se state. It can be difficult due to tides. Currents and wind . So if you're not used to paddling. Do not go beyond the harbour. The sea state varies a lot and can take yoh by surprise. Please please wear proper kit. Boyoncy aid etc. The scenery from the water is stunning. Sure to see seals. Found this cute little place on our way home from Giant's Causeway. The road in was absolutely farked. Cars parked side of road, and people having to back up forever with zero side clearance. There was plenty of parking at the harbour, but people seemed intent on screwing things up for everyone else. Good times! :) Beautiful harbour off the beating track in Northern Ireland. Visited with friends, so peaceful. This is a wonderfully quirky wee harbour with great views and lots of curious artifacts like the tourer vans minus the wheels. Lovely spot and enjoyed a nice picnic here. 😊 Busy on a Saturday afternoon, so we returned Sunday morning for a lovely walk. Make sure to drop by when the café is open! The self-made cakes are sublime! If you're looking for a quiet little spot to maybe picnic or just have some rest and relaxation, this is it. Narrow little lane to access it but quite short. There is a height restriction of 6'6" for the car park though. Toilets are available and clean when we visited. Lovely spot for snorkelling I would imagine, as the water is beautifully clear. Gorgeous! The weather really makes it! Be careful driving to here as the road is thin and windy. Great place to see right on our door step, can't believe we've never been here before. There's a good walk with lovely views or you can go down and swim in some of the rock pools. It's definitely worth a visit there's a toilet block down in the carpark. Didn't know this was here. Nice place with hiking paths Great scuba diving. Hose on site to rinse gear and clean facilities. A good starting point for a trek over to White Park Bay and Ballintoy Harbour if you're feeling energetic. It's free to park and there are public toilets available (also free).
