Food was good, the location on the rooftop pleasantly cool on a warm summer day - but it would have been even better, if the the staff at least would have tried to crack a smile... We recently did a 1 day cooking class at Al Ciocco. Gabriella is an incredibly friendly and generous host who, after spending most of the day cooking and learning her Italian cooking secrets, we enjoyed long Italian lunch with wonderful hospitality. She also took us to a nearby parmesan maker after we expressed interest in learning about the cheese making process. A hidden gem in part of Italy with not many tourist. Highly recommend if you like cooking and want to understand Italian food culture. It was an authentic experience!
