I was there at a private venue last night. Staff were brilliant. The place is beautiful. Inside and extra specially out. Challenging course, head wind didnt help, but beautiful surroundings and views were amazing Lovely track, nicely laid out going down to the river valley. Some tricky holes. Not overly long but difficult at times to find the right angles. Very friendly welcome and a nice outside place for a drink post round. We'll be back! Unbelievable course. Classic looking brilliant club house with friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend it to anyone. Top class. Sausage rolls are awesome as well Brilliant greens . I'm only a beginner golfer so found this course challenging in places. Beautiful condition for early October. Quite hilly. Clubhouse is big & friendly. Also has a par 3 course, driving range & practice area for putting & pitching. We played here yesterday and after our round. We decided to play another 18 holes due to how good the condition of the course was in. Everybody was so welcoming on arrival and through out our whole visit. I would highly recommend this golf club to anybody. Also not forgetting a lovely eagle on the 10th was very nice to achieve. Thank you Tyneside we will be back very soon.
