First time playing here and I loved it. Course wasn't playing too long as it was winter tees but it's still a challenge, especially the holes near the coast. Got lucky with the weather, hardly any wind and 10deg, it will play much different when the weather picks up adding to the challenge. Will definitely be back. One of Scotland golf's best kept secrets. Challenging in feature although short in distance 110+ year old links course. If you can find a day with no wind or rain, grab your clubs and prepare to try break 80! Lovely clubhouse staff and there is a great view from the clubhouse too down onto the course, the cliffs, the sea, and Stonehaven in the background. Delicious afternoon tea celebrating mothers day. Chef really outdone himself and servers were kind and polite. Catered wonderfully to vegan needs too! 100% reccomended. Amazing first visit. Great course, short but still tricky and with loads of elevation change and obviously wind that makes you have to think about your club choice and shot shape. Pricey for non-Scottish residents but a very enjoyable round! One of the most scenic golf courses close to the Aberdeen area. There are electric push carts to rent. Course is challenging and a lost ball means you got distracted by a great view of the Atlantic😊. This was in Sep of 2023. Incredible course and hospitality, I went as a visitor at a beginner/intermediate level with a friend and was welcomed with open arms to play and borrow clubs. Fantastic views throughout, well maintained greens and challenging course despite a slightly shorter course length. I don’t normally leave google reviews but this is an exception! Highly recommend! Played the course for the first time today and wow… fantastic layout… stunning scenery and the course is in great condition. A former greenkeeper myself so know a thing or 2 about keeping a golf course in good shape. Kudos to the green staff. Will be back to this course a lot more from the USA. Beautiful course. Always play it while in Scotland. Amazing views. You will not Of course, on the cliffs at Stonehaven, unless you’re in California Hawaii on the coast. Fun. The food is good. Everyone is friendly. Always can show up and just play.
