Pizza is usually good but tonight It was to burnt for me. Delivery time was longer than stated Thought we would try here for a change. There pizza was great Lots of chicken tikka on the pizza. There bbq chicken kebab was excellent & the way I like it. 5 stars banging Pizza was pretty thick and far too much cheese. Ok for what it was. Service was great and very professional and polite Ordered a chicken tikka with fried rice and a nan from this halal takeaway in the centre of Port Glasgow. Food done to restraunt quality. Perfect rice and nan and very beautifully seasoned tikka. Subtle delicate flavour of 5star sauce. Throughly enjoyed it and had plenty for the next day. Highly Recommended. I didn’t feel particularly welcomed and the staff member wasn’t so helpful in advising but the curry tasted reheated from the night before. The Naan bread was fine, chicken pakora ok but the chicken tikka masala I ordered did not taste freshly cooked. Ordered my food and it came within 20 minutes, freshly cooked and roasting hot 😌 Ordered a calzone from here the other night, I ordered same last week. Their website crashed and said I had to pay card, couldn’t use cash option. So paid by card. Driver came to door, I gave him a tip and he said, no you have to pay the whole thing. He argued for a while that it wasn’t paid, I showed him my bank account where it had clearly come out of. He had phoned me to come to the door so I had his number. I shut the door (luckily he’d already given me the food) and I sent him the receipt from my account on my phone. I then get a call from the woman on the counter basically accusing me of stealing, then a guy came on same thing, even though I was explaining I’d sent the receipt to the driver. The driver wanted me to pay him and the card payment then sort it out with the shop so I would have effectively paid twice. Not a chance, as I know I would have struggled to get my money back. Lost the plot with the guy and hung up as he basically kept saying I was stealing. Calmed down, phoned back, told him again it was out my bank and driver had screen shot of this. He said he would check next morning with his payment people. Never heard anymore, no apology, as clearly I didn’t steal anything. Will never use again! Disgusting service. Place is absolutely amazing! Great people working there, lots of kindness and friendliness. Give it a 5 out of 5! Thank you guys.
