Interesting pets corner. Looked a little tired, but animals looked ok, and cages were clean. The glass was a bit difficult to see through clearly. Maybe it would be better on a sunny day. Playpark kept our three year old happy. Well kept lawns and borders. Very nice park, with animals and a for smaller kids. Only thing it's lacking is a toilet but you can't have everything I guess. Don't know the well. I sometimes here to have lunch. On a clear day it's worth it for the view. Uninterrupted, out over the water to the hills beyond. Seems to be popular with dog walkers. There is also a bowling green. Nice area for a drive and a stroll. You guys plant potato’s all over the and arent telling me this isn’t deliberate and an attack on Irish Catholics and Celtic fans? There is pony, a danke and 2 goats and a pig you can feed and lots of small animals you can absorb behind the glass (bunny's, hamster's, chickens, ducks and birds other birds. A nice playground and a small fairy door. Very clean toilets. Lovely walk no matter what season. Great for kids and dogs too. It's kept lovely with lots of different wee trails. Great run up and down the hills for my fur baby Stunning scenery on my doorstep.. Great place to take the kids & let them run off some of their sugar high. Lucky to have this great free place on our doorstep. As always some people ruin it for others by throwing dog poo bags into the bushes/undergrowth, but that’s not the fault of the park. It’s the fault of their parents, dragging them up. What is with people who do that? Is it that they want to look responsible when there are other people around but then don’t care about responsibility when it comes to the next step in the process of finding a bin. Do you need to sit a test before getting a dog? I don’t have a dog so I’m not sure of the process but I’m thinking the test needs to be made harder so poo bag throwing eejits can’t pass it. Great for the kids (toddlers). Even in winter. Lots of options. Nice walk even outside the gardens. Pleasantly surprised that the council have retained and maintained this for its intended use.
