Rinagree Coastal Park

Nice little place to park up, have a coffee and enjoy the views. When we were there a lot of people were just sitting in their cars staring out at the empty ocean, how boring is that? But there are picnic tables and you can also access the coastal path from this car park if you actually want to do something instead of just sitting there doing your best zombie impression. great views and picnic tables - you can tie up your hungry pouch (or husband) whilst having a cuppa in peace I am part of the motorcycle group called Biking Adventures and routes Northern Ireland and I done tribute to the NW200 as it was supposed to run here this year but had be cancelled due to Covid. So this is my solo ride along the circuit at legal speeds. I popped in here for a spot of food and coffee and it is a very tranquil place to take in the stunning views across the bay. It’s only when you stop and take in the place do you really see it’s beautiful views, walks and how friendly the people are. On my short stop at least 10 people greeted me and set me up for the rest of my journey, thanks Portrush. Quiet and quaint town and park stop off on the motorway. Breathtaking views and photo ops on the northern tip of the UK. Stayed at the Inn at the Coast which was very comfortable, had their own pub and restaurant. Lovely place beautiful coastline Port Stewart Northern Ireland about 3 miles drive to Port Rush. Watch the Truck Fest 2018 here was great to see it well supported, Food Stalls here. Will be back next year First class spot when the gates open, barriers need removed to enjoy this coast when driving a campervan.
