Enjoyed great coffee , deinking chocolate and Earl Grey tea here along with some cakes. Has the daily newspapers, good calendars and a wide selection of attractive cards cards and notelets. It also does icecream. It is nice to sit in the window and watch the world go by between reading the paper or chatting. Staff are pleasant and have the service orientation which enhances the experience. Visited for the first time in September on a beautiful day. It was busy with lineups out the door. The staff were friendly to all and the wait time was minimal…and worth it. The Battenberg whipped gelato was incredible. We’ll be back when we’re in NI again. Don't come here expecting the ordinary! My favourite was peach and cream. A beautiful place to sit and enjoy an ice cream. Wow, if you love ice cream, and who doesn't, you will find it very difficult to choose your favourite flavour - there is an incredible selection - from what I have tried simply delicious. Absolutely love the new shop. Well done to the owner and staff. It looks fantastic! And there are genuinely interesting gifts absolutely everywhere. Loads of cards happy birthday stuff, jewellery, games, books, cool painted ceramic pots and just a whole lot more. Even sweets! Mixup man! Yes please. Just towards the harbour end of the promenade is the new shop. I had chai latte my usual wherever I go. And my friend had the signature roughans mocha! Both were delicious even comparable to vitel on up the prom. And that's a bold statement! Great stuff. Love the new shop. Good luck! Pleasant atmosphere, excellent range of ice creams, there are several lactose free versions. No cooking smells as they only offer coffee and cakes. Well worth a visit. Best ice cream place in Portstewart. Don’t be drawn by the bright lights of the other Italian joint - this is where all the locals go. Try the cherry flavour - it’s a game changer! Have been in with family twice on the same weekend and will be returning every day for the week that I’m visiting the Port!The scones are truly delightful-all homemade by Damian (the owner),and to top it all,came with homemade raspberry jam!!.Coffee is lovely,as is the tea-really good and strong. The whole shop layout has a very interesting yet relaxed vibe with a remarkable selection of cards and gifts.Tables all have a wonderful sea view.
