Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. There was a long line to get in but it moved pretty quickly. Entrance fee was €12 per person. We spent about an hour walking around. It had gorgeous views of the sea and surrounding area. Worth the visit to take a break from the busy streets of Taormina. Beautiful site which is thousands years old, still in use. Very touristic but it is what it is. Beautiful views around. Impressive theatre Stunning well preserved amphitheatre, setting is incredible built high up squeezed in almost impossibly. Views stunning well worth the wait to get in and do buy tickets in advance to save the wait at the ticket office. You're not even allowed to walk close to the entrance to get a glimpse even though there is a huge lineup. There are also other things to see that way, but they guard the entrance fee with their lives. Annoying experience. I love seeing history on display. This ancient greek/ roman amphitheater being nestled in with all of modern Taormina was awesome! The views were great. I just wish the day I was there it had not been raining! Still yet, i think it was worth the price of admission just to see it! Amazing place, Amazing location. We were able to see the opera Carmen and enjoyed it very much. Acoustics are incredible. Thinking about a couple sitting in our same seats a few thousand years ago watching a show also. Incredible venue. Would love to see a great band here. Highly recommend. The day i visited they had placed a big stage and lots of equipment boxes in the middle of amphitheater and had installed ugly modern chairs. I did not get the vibe of an ancient ruin A very interesting place, I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Taormina. Here you can visit and see the ancient theater located on the hill with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea surrounding Taormina and the surrounding buildings. Currently, the paths leading to the gymnasion are closed to tourists.
