We were staying in the Emmental region for vacation and saw this on the map with good reviews so came here to see cheese. Even though we looked at their website we didn’t know much about their tour- which turned out to be a Disney World like where you go from room to room with automated lighting and narration - it was a lot of fun. And at the end you get to see their wheels of and try a few different ages of their signature cheese. We bought more in their store and left for home. There is certainly more to see and do but we came near the end of the day. Certainly recommend! The food was amazing. I love Emmentaler cheese. Staff super nice. Lovely little village. Small with explanation of how the is made with tasting in the end. Check out the website to when you can see the production Part of the Swiss Passport 🧀 Super tour, very kid friendly, interactive, fun, and informative. Best self food for kids I have ever seen. Very well designed and varied. was great, restaurant was fabulous and the playground was right next to the restaurant. My kids have been begging to go back! Very nice dairy, especially the kings path self was surprisingly good. It consists of multiple nicely designed installations accompanied by the story of Emmental as an audio book. I expected a self to be much less interesting so it was a pleasant surprise. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Parking might be a problem in high season so I would go early. to see the factory from the shop floor. selection. Coffee price was silly and it was not from a barista coffee machine. We opted for a delicious fresh donut instead :). Highly recommend coming here with friends! We had a blast exploring all the different cheeses and seeing how it’s made! They have a really restaurant as well with a stellar view! Thanks for the memories and God bless xo The original famous Swiss and you get to taste the various ages cheeses. storytelling, nice restaurant, and nice service. Really enjoyed the King's self and sleeping overnight in a barrel! Was lovely to wake up and enjoy the views over breakfast. Staff super accommodating and friendly ! Would love to return for the cream making workshop and a of the factory. We had a wonderful private at the Emmental dairy. Everything was very well organized, and our clients truly enjoyed the experience. The highlight was definitely the animated part, which was especially fun and engaging for the children. They loved it! A for families and anyone who wants to learn about Emmental in an enjoyable way. Highly recommended. We enjoyed the King's Way tour. We bought our tickets online and were able to do the self in English. The immersive was quite fun. At the end, we enjoyed tasting different aged cheese. Had the opportunity to visit this place, totally amazing. Lots of things to buy, cheese! For pinoys like me who are not really people who grew up snacking cheese, the 4-8 months aged were tasty for me. The older ones, not so much. 🤣 but overall experience. What a little village and a little spot to learn all about what makes Emmental the special treat that it is!! Took the fun and stayed for lunch. Somehow in all my years I had never actually had a meal of fondue! place to it . Very pleasant afternoon and would welcome for all ages. Swiss museums don’t disappoint and this one is no different. Fun day out, beautiful scenery, and informative. I was blown away by how well-done and cute this was. I'm a local and took friends from the UK, and we had the most time. Kudos to whoever created the self-guided and translated the audio track. The rapping milkmaid was an absolute highlight; getting those rhymes right can't have been easy. I will recommend this to anyone I know and come back soon. I went with my family and my friend's family, in total we were 6 adults and 3 kids under 7. And we had the best time. We stayed the whole day. We bought the kombi-ticket of the Koenigs Weg and the Frischkaese Workshop, so we decided to arrive early morning. There was a fair happening with Apple-based all-things being sold and it was just amazing. The kids had a time in the Spielplatz and also watching the goats and rabbits. Both the workshop and the Koenigs Weg are kid's friendly. The restaurant food was as well. The staff was also very friendly.
