Nice cosy theatre with staff and good views from any of the seats. Seats are pretty hard so you can get uncomfortable after a while. Went to watch Tom Gates on a Saturday night, shame the theatre was half empty as it was a show. Have been lucky enough to see a number of performances here over the years but most recently was Harry Hill. Parking was easy, although it definitely did look busy by the time we left so for popular events it may be worth arriving a little earlier or car sharing where possible. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice venue with a relatively large stage considering the overall size. Good facilities. Easy to get to and nearby parking too. If arriving in Newtown by train, expect a 25 min walk to the venue. The WNO event was impressive. location and convenient from all directions in Wales. Plenty of parking. Good bus and train links. Friendly event staff. conference facilities. Went to Friday nights show. A flawless performance full of music, dance and humour. Entertainment at its very best. All backed by an excellent Orchestra. As always, a show and a clean venue and sufficient parking. Loses a few stars due to not being allowed to bring drinks into the venue, even for medical needs, made worse by the concession stand being extremely expensive. There was very little legroom in the seats, so anyone 6 feet or taller might have some issues with longer shows. It was our first visit to the Hafren, and we were very impressed.
