As someone travelling alone on business, I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming experience. From the moment I arrived, my hosts went above and beyond to make me feel completely at home. Nothing was ever too much trouble – whether it was helping with small requests, offering local recommendations, or simply taking the time for a warm and friendly chat. The atmosphere they’ve created is wonderfully inclusive, relaxed, and caring, which instantly puts you at ease. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and the beds are so comfortable that I slept better here than in most hotels. What truly stood out, though, was the food. Every meal was home cooked with real care and attention to detail. It wasn’t just good – it was expertly prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with pride. Sharing in such lovingly prepared meals added a special touch to my and made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable. Altogether, this was far more than just a place to – it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home and genuinely cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend it wholeheartedly. The rooms are excellent, cozy with very nice view. It is a local business (I guess) with incredible owners and staff. The food is AMAZING. We ordered welsh lamb shank and chicken plate that were so delicious, in addition to, prawns and garlic bread w cheese (a must to try). Stayed for two nights in room 2 whilst attending wedding celebrations nearby. Room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy. We had dual aspect views of the beautiful scenery that surrounds the Inn. Breakfasts very tasty and plenty of choice, just wished we had been able to fit in an evening meal as the menu looked good. The hosts Sue and Steve couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Hoping we can revisit this beautiful area in the not too distant future and if we do we will definitely at the Dolfor Inn again. What a truly wonderful place. We only stopped one night but we had an amazing stay. Our room was just beautiful packed with original features and the bed was super comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast during our and both were delicious. Our hosts were fantastic, naked us welcome & were very friendly. We had a drink with them on the Friday night with lots of laughs and they were all great company. You can tell they love what they do from their attention to detail and great service. It’s a 10/10 My wife and I stayed here on our way back to London from the Lake District, driving through the stunning Snowdonia National Park. We were delighted to arrive at this beautiful rural retreat, where our room offered incredible views of the countryside. To make it even better, both dinner and breakfast were absolutely outstanding. The whole experience was a perfect mix of comfort, scenery, and fantastic food. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning soon, next time for some hiking! I had a fantastic three-night at The Dolfor Inn while attending a nearby Yamaha motorcycle course. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily, which was much appreciated. The food was absolutely exquisite—every meal was a delight! Excellent full english! Lovely dinner menu with plenty of choices. Loved the Dolfor cheesecake!
