Not the most amazing pool but the soft play is good, little dirty but worth the money. Too expensive! At 60 I was awarded a free swim pass,at 61 it was taken off me as the council thought it was not affordable! Every time I go for a swim ,I get allergies from too much chlorine,I find the changing rooms not very clean,I now have Sinusitis after the last swim so cannot go to the pool ordered by the doctor, and can't get my money back for this months subscription ,is it any wonder that I am not happy? My daughter went for her first jab,she is almost 18. Great staff and you're well looked after. Very professional and safe. Visited for both vaccine jabs. Very well organised and staff excellent. Helped me out massively as I have a phobia of needles but they managed to make inject me both times. Thank you for your help with this it was greatly appreciated Finding a time when they are open to take one's family is nigh on impossible. In the old days you could go to a pool any day and any time with your family and swim. Now it's divided up into short timed swims that you have to be genius to work into your schedule. Pools should encourage family not discourage it. Rowing machine maintenance disappointing. I paid for a year's subscription and this is the ONLY equipment I use. So just two stars for me. I'll explain. I do 5 k metres every time I use them. The one nearest the exit is calibrated 5 minutes slower to 5k than the other one so not good. Also the other one, which you have an incentive to use, has foot holds which come undone. Very annoying. I've mentioned these issues a handful of times and nothing is done. Today I heard the gym machery is checked once a month. Big deal as they haven't sorted these problems. The manager says "health and safety" is key. I said use them to 5k and check for yourself. PS I am in my later 60s was a great athlete at school and this should not have to be written but hey I've gone over these issues with enough people there and to me it appears to go inside one ear outside the other. Went for an early morning swim. Really clean facilities and friendly staff. The only downside was the lack of lanes, it was a bit of a free for all. It would definitely be safer and have greater capacity if they had lanes with clockwise & anti-clockwise disciplines introduced. Will price rise your gym membership without telling you, the changing rooms are so dirty it's a helth hazard, Good parking, Handy for gym that are the only good points, Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
