This is a 'hidden gem' (its website doesn't do the variety of exhibits justice!). It can be reached easily with a 5 minute bus ride from Amersfoort Central Station or a brisk 25 minute walk. As the is on an active military base you need to go through security to get in, however my steering wheel was on the wrong side for the gate buzzer, but everyone was very friendly about it. staff even cycled alongside my car back to the gate so they could buzz it open for me and I wouldn't have to get out. Interesting exhibition of both uniforms, medals, silverwear and a separate building of vehicles. None of the exhibitions are in English, but if you're into military you'll be able to understand what's exhibited anyway.
