The hotel sits on a large theme resort very suitable for younger kids. There are lots of attractions within the hotel grounds. Rooms are clean and service, excellent. The hotel didn't provide any shower gel or dish washing liquid which i felt should have been communicated upfront for guests to pack for the trip. Very nice place, beautiful houses for to live there, there are special decorations for It was just amazing. people, park, activities. Especially loved the welcome, at the entrance of the when you arrive for the first time, by the lovely older gentleman that made you feel welcomed and at home. A fantastic experience. Our kids didn't want to leave. The total experience was great. Spent 4 days there with our and grandchildren. It was a brilliant experience. I want to go back but without the grandchildren 😀. The staff were and genuinely friendly and welcoming. The environment was perfect and not a dull moment. The farm was an absolute amazing time for the they went 3 times during our stay. Ok so a couple of moans. No washing machine in house. The air cooling was almost non existing. The lowest we could get the temperature down to was 24c. At night it went up to 25-26c. Not too comfortable when temps outside reached 29-31c. Would recommend and certainly go back again. Ted We stayed in a lakeside "Kinderdijk Cottage" which was clean and well maintained. We were attracted to the by the flexible check-in and out dates which fitted with our schedule. The play facilities are aimed at much younger than ours so we didn't use them. The restaurant and burger-bar were good although more expensive than we expected. The Grocer is small but useful for the basics (there's a supermarket 4km away in Molenaarsgraaf). The was well landscaped and maintained and the staff were well presented and friendly. We were far enough away from the highway that we didn't really notice the noise. In fact, due to most visitors having small children, it was nice and quiet from mid evening. We'd definitely recommend it - especially for those with under about 8. Absolutely for little kids. The is so nicely done, the cabins on the water are comfortable, practical and not to mention - adorable. The only downside is that this is right next to a highway. So the sounds of the traffic are VERY apparent. A bit of a mismatch with the serene sunrise over the water. That’s a shame. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I went to the molenward resort with my husband and 4 year old son. It's a place for small kids. As we went in early December it wasn't very busy and had many activities indoor and outdoor. We also got free access to the main theme Advonturenboedrij. It was also nice, small scale interactive. Not too busy and friendly staff in both places. Sadly, my son got a mosquito bite on the last day, and he eye got swollen really bad. The staff directed us to the huisart, which was 5mins drive and was open on Sunday. It was a quick visit and apotheek was part of it so we got everything we needed in just few minutes. Lastly, my son enjoyed a lot specially the speelchur and the trolley rides and we all went home happy!
