Great location, very popular, but the setting pattern seems too narrow to appreciate the lake view. Super pretty place tucked away. We repeatedly asked for forks and spoons but did not get it. Middle aged waitress just ignored our request.Probably because we are foreigners . Young waitress in Drindl is kind , helpful and respectful. Top I ordered a drink, sat down and a woman working there came up to me and told me I had to leave. They have also a nice patio, but since I visited during winter time, I enjoyed the indoor atmosphere. The shop was packed on a Sunday afternoon - always a good sign. I enjoyed the homemade cakes a lot. Not to sweet, but very fresh and tasty. The coffee (I had a Cappuccino) was nothing special but well-prepared and served hot. I'll definitely come back if I am back in the Ammersee area. Food is OK and the staff are friendly. It's just all a bit 1995: unoriginal cakes, bad coffee and – staggeringly – only cash payment.
