There's not much that can be said about Ballyhornan that hasn't already been said. It is a quiet little village on the Co Down coast. It has beautiful views, a beach, a small kiddies play park, a car park, a pub, a shop and a chippie. Perfect for a day out. Really with both ramp and steps down to it. Car can get busy but you can on the grassy area opposite. There is a coffee shack which sells hot and cold drinks, traybakes, crepes etc. There are public toilets nearby Love this place as easily the best and least spoilt in NI and whole northern half of Ireland along with Benderg bay and Killard point. Beautiful to look at. Barrier over carpark means no access for taller vehicles though. and path down to it has quite a lot of dog poop and on the too, plus a fair amount of litter. There are better beaches in the area.its ok Absolute gem of a pub. Really friendly staff and owner. A great place for a pint along the Down coast Really with a car park, a children's play and a coffee van where I got a great flat white! Nice to have a good walk on 💕🏖️ There is also a little pub beside the beach. Very beach. Wide and deep. Brilliant views from the coast. Small playground by the car park. Car it self is small with spaces for maybe 15 cars but more parking opportunities along the ciast. Clean, tidy, well kept. There's a wee coffee trailer at the car but it closes at 5pm and very often they only take cash. In all very good place to chill and relax if the weather permits. Amazing place if you have a car well worth going around the Ballyhornan Loop, well signed. Not clear enough on our visit but apparently the Isle of Man. Lovely, fairly remote, beach. It's possible to walk to Gun's Island at low tide, or swim / paddle board / kayak etc at other times. The whole shore line, especially to the South, is beautiful and worth exploring. beach, nice and sandy, accessible and very beautiful. Even for a midday/evening stroll. 🚶 Car is small but adequate One of the most beautiful beaches in Co.Down. So clean and not overly busy. Beautiful walk along it Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
