Location superb New management for this magnificent location with a spectacular view of the Collio area. Either the indoor dining room and the patio are pleasant, simple yet comfortable. The cuisine is heavily based on traditional Roman dishes, but with an aim to integrate and explore the Friulian territory and its local products. A notable highlight is the much-appreciated effort to use a grill, charcoal cooking in almost every dish using just the best and fresh ingredients that our land offers. Customers are spoilt for choice by the menu that entails tempting dishes featured by new, modern combinations. The food is flavorful, delicious, and each dish has an ingredient, a twist that is surprising. The wine list is extensive, with many Friulian options as well as Italian and foreign selections (a little overpriced). The dessert at the end of the meal was a delightful discovery: sweet eggplant with a bitter chocolate mousse— terrific! The staff is kind and friendly. The prices are in line with other similar high-quality restaurants. Highly recommended, we would gladly return. The view from this place is amazing. There are no huge surprises when the bill comes however, because one ends up paying the fair price for quality and quantity.
