Unlike other similar museums in this one you are even able to explore the interior of some of the exhibited vehicles. I personally would appreciate if some parts of the exhibition were more interactive and more vehicles were opened to be able to explore the interior of them. Also there were some English descriptions missing but overall it was really nice experience that came at pretty low cost. 👍 Fantastic collection of Danish armour , cannons and uniforms , lucky enough to see several being driven A great collection, well-hidden. The history of the exhibited items is well described and easy to grasp. Space is also utilised in a smart way and some vehicles can be entered. In addition, some of them are still operational, which is quite unique. A great experience, for which around 1-2 hours can easily be used (more however if you really dive deep into all the details provided). A very interesting and different museum. However, you really need to be into tanks and war material. It was a thrill to a sherman tank that was actually still able to drive - a tank that was actively used in WW2. Examples from different periods but mainly post WW2. Good selection of Cold War and modern vehicles and artillery. Lovely museum, very Husband and Kids friendly, they even allow you to climb on and inside some of the tanks which was a amazing experience! Ive been here some time ago when they still had firetrucks. I must say im a happy with what they did with the place. Looks amazing and i even saw one of the tanks being started. Was nice, had a lot of, well, artillery pieces from the 1500s till modern day, a few ifv and some mbt. At the entrance there was I think a leopard 2A4, and some other kind of ifv.
