Booked a table for lunch on Saturday. Lovely setting little plant nursery and shop to browse before or after you go to the cafe. Food was delicious no complaints the staff were friendly and helpful! The cafe is also dog friendly and there's a small children's play area there too with a children's menu available too! Definitely be back! When we arrived they had stopped serving food, but we're still serving scones, tea and cake. It's a warm, cosy atmosphere with low level lighting and tables to seat up to 10 people. The flavours in the cheese scones and carrot and ginger cake were wonderful and well balanced. Definitely worth a visit. We had a 4 month old with us and the baby changing is spot on - clean, tidy and perfect for us! Joined family here for breakfast ,cannot recommend enough. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff attentive , spotlessly clean and so much choice . The food was absolutely delicious , freshly cooked and I would imagine local produce used. We had coffee and a cake, the carrot cake was delicious, there is lots of room with tables in the garden with great views looking over Wellington. There is also a plant nursery and local artisan shops to browse. Had a lovely lunch sat in the garden, after a walk at the wildlife reserve nearby. The food was tasty and fresh, service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were We came out here for brunch a couple of weeks ago for the first time. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was cosy and rustic, the staff friendly and the service was perfect. We will definitely be back soon. Also shout-out to the absolutely amazing cheese scones... I've been dreaming about eating one again ever since. Superb veggie breakfast, flat white and kombucha. Friendly service and didn’t mind me dining alone even though it was busy. Thank you. This little gem of a cafe is well worth a visit. We stopped there mid way through a cycle ride today, and had coffee's and their "Dirty fries", with Haddock pieces. Delicious twist on fries. The staff were all friendly, and I would thoroughly recommend it. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area.
