Flounders is hands-down one of the best chippies around. The is always perfectly cooked — light, crispy batter and flaky inside — and the are golden and not greasy. The staff are friendly and efficient even when it’s busy, and the portions are generous. Easily my go-to for a proper and night. Was staying at haven down the road read the good reviews and wanted to try food was of a decent standard but the portion size is terrible. The meals the plastic dishes come in vary in size not sure why and even the the dishes are not full with sauce you get very little for the money you pay. I think this place must live on passing trade as not much else in the area. They need to either lower the prices or increase the portion size and start adding the correct amount of sauce you are paying for. Excellent Chinese, speedy service considering how busy they were and the food was delicious. Just got the chinese items spice box and chicken curry fried rice very tasty i would liking prawn crackers since paid 26 pound i assumed they be free but overall would eat there again Fantastic as always! You can't find a better chinese takeaway alongside traditional and chips, both excellent quality and flavors. One of the only places I've found that cooks great tofu.
