A fantastic Restaurant we called in there on the way home after the Christmas light switch on in Chepstow. Fantastic food, we had enough for a doggy bag to. food a little long but a time . We went last night for the 3rd time and as usual the food was excellent and the very attentive and pleasant. What we did find though was the was a bit rushed. The onion bahjis came out whilst we were still eating out popadoms and the main dishes very soon after that. They were taking our plates away whilst some of us were still eating and we were in and out in an hour. Nobody wants to wait ages for food but this was way too quick with no time between the courses for what we had eaten to go down. We would have had more drinks as well if we were there longer so not a thing for them to lose that money Saying all that, we will be back in September for the night as the food is top notch. My wife and I came here last night with three young kids. The entire was very nice and welcoming. The food was delicious. I would come back here. Absolutely amazing, the are very attentive, the fantastic highly recommended, I will definitely be returning, thank you for a 😀 The best Indian I've ever been to, without a doubt! And with working all over the country, that's a lot! My partner Emily is not an Indian fan but she loves this place. Every curry I've had so far has been so good. I would definitely recommend! Nice place. food We've been here a couple of times. The has a nice range of food, which is really tasty. The are fantastic and very helpful and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this place to others. Fantastic meal. Very fresh. You could see the veg base comprising the curry in both our chicken and veg dishes, compared to the bland puree you see in many other places. Curries are a touch on the sweet side, but this is true of many in the UK. What made our night was the service, just the right amount. And the team, especially Mr Bhaj helped us out of a real pinch in helping us get back to where we were staying. Thank you, we would visit again! Perfect night for a large group. Plenty of food options, lovely setting and attentive when needed. Only slight issue was the weight of the chairs on a carpeted floor - difficult in getting up and down to visit for some older members. I have been to Indian Empire quite a few times now but only recently they have started doing a 7 days a week in the restaurant as well as being able to order from the main menu. I gave the a try this time and it was delicious! So many curry’s to choose from as well as a selection of side dishes. I always tend to get a bit nervous with buffets as they can often feel unclean but not at Indian Empire, it was spotless! The were in and out cleaning the space and replenishing the dishes! The food was nice and hot inside the metal containers. We also ordered Roar beer from the draught to compliment the food! 🥘 🍺 Went out for a 60th birthday celebration, we had a style in the function room which was spacious. There were a selection of curry’s and sides available as well as a few desserts ranging from watermelon to cakes and rice pudding. Lovely friendly atmosphere there and the were great. Wow wow wow! This place lives up to the best curry in Wales and I can see why people rave about it. The food was impeccable, affordable and unbelievably tasty and the was perfection. We loved the and the atmosphere. Only thing.. please put garlic and cheese naan on the menu 😉! Thank you - we can't wait to return!! Lovely and quiet, we went on a Sunday at 6pm for the all you can eat. All the food was cooked fresh, the were amazing and provided such amazing service. For 5 of us it cost just shy of £100 for the all you can eat and each person had at least 2-3 plates, definitely worth the money. Will be going again Absolute disaster of a meal. Honestly, I’m not sure they even know what Indian food is—might be worth them taking a trip to Delhi and coming back with a clue. Waited 1.5 hours for something that tasted like a bad microwave meal. was non-existent, yet they still had the audacity to ask for a tip. Avoid at all costs. I have been enjoying the food at Indian Empire for 25 years …recently I would say the food is but not as it used to be. Tonight’s take away was the original quality I recall. It was full of flavour and hot . I enjoyed so much I rang to tell them and they put me into the chef to tell him first hand . Keep up the work… Food was fantastic, very tasty. However, the waiter was very rude and didn’t make us feel very welcome, it was like he was trying to force us out of the restaurant which was a pity. Went for a quiet family meal, everything was excellent apart from 1 waiter (older man). He was obviously unhappy, he was silent, didn’t smile, didn’t respond when spoken to. Abruptly placed the food down (food was delicious). To the point my father and I made comment on his manner. If I attend again I will ask for another waiter. You don’t expect that type of when paying prices like that!!
