We found ourselves in a bit of a predicament when another venue canceled our Sunday lunch for 19 people due to a double booking, this morning. We contacted the Rose and Crown in Pucklechurch, where we had visited before. The lady on the phone graciously confirmed they could accommodate us, and we were blown away by the exceptional service. The went above and beyond, and the servers were second to none—fantastic in every way. The rest of the team was equally impressive, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially considering the short notice. Everything was wonderful, and we truly appreciate how well they handled the situation, even though it was busy. A huge thank you to everyone at the Rose and Crown. We had a fantastic time with food in a venue. Highly recommended. Thanks. It was a relaxing atmosphere, it wasn't noisy and crowded. The food wasn't too bad, I liked the soup and the Eton mess dessert. I like the fact they are dog friendly. Outside, they have an alpaca shelter, and they also offer an alpaca food, If you want to feed the aplacas. A pub with welcoming owners/staff. Plenty of rooms to choose from: snugs, bar, dining room. wholesome homemade food. Tasty desserts. Wadsworth beers and others. bottle of Malbec with our meal. I had the joy of visiting The Rose and Crown for a Sunday roast. The pub was easy to locate and had loads of parking. Upon entering the parking area you may be greet by some alpacas! The pub had a and chill atmosphere and perfect for all ages. The members were wonderful and had fast service. The food was fantastic. I had the lamb leg and it was packed with veggies, stuffing, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding. All with gravy drizzled over. Best I've ever had 😫 I was totally full from the meal! For the 5 of us and including soft drinks it was under £100. Which is bargain considering how much we get!! I totally recommend visiting and making a reservation in advanced. Also - With the they have little bags for feeding for £1 but when we visited they were very uninterested 😂 The I had in there was very nice, and I was impressed. The pub has recently been taken on by a new landlord all the are the same Went a few weeks ago for the Wednesday steak night which was been back for a general meal value for money food presented excellent and full of flavour and value for money Excellent. Food was awesome. We hand dinners and best we've had in a long time. Fantastic food! staff! Really pub. Food was fast and tasted amazing. Had the lamb Sunday and the kids had fish fingers and chips. The were with the kids and gave us colouring pencils and prints of the pubs to colour in and stick on the wall. All in all I would highly recommend! We booked a table for 8 people, for a family meal, amazing pub in an area that means a lot to our family, my mother (Ann Williams) grew up in the area, so we always have an affinity with Pucklechurch!! The food was fantastic and fairly price, the drinks also. The were brilliant all evening, very welcoming, naturally and helpful, thank you for a really experience, we will certainly be back, keep up the standards that befit a beautiful place!! 🦊♥️ I love this pub, I discovered it by accident and it was so that I've come back with multiple different people! The food was delicious, we had the Rose and Crown burger, chicken pappardelle, liver and bacon and chicken ciabatta. All cooked fresh and size portions. I indulged in the coconut panna cotta for desert which was sublime. It was a lovely relaxing lunch with service. We will definitely return. It was also to see the beautiful in the garden. Absolutely bottom tier food considering the price. I don’t think anything was fresh. The potatoes were definitely reheated from a previous day. I didn’t enjoy one single bit, and I usually eat anything. Service was ok. An absolute gem of a pub. Welcoming and efficient staff. Excellent tasty food. Generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Beer garden layout has a good-sized seating area without being squashed together. The were a delightful bonus. A dog pub. Will definitely be a frequent visitor. Food was really nice, service was and very friendly, would definitely go back. Had a lovely Sunday lunch with the family today. The new owners were so attentive and gave a goodwill discount on the bill as had vouchers purchased with previous owners, very much appreciated. Just a tip: in summer, call ahead as there’s only space for a limited number of campers. The highlight? After a slow crawl up the M5 we decided to look for a pub to eat in and park our camper for the night before continuing east. Pretty close to the motorway but nicely in the countryside. Warm welcome, generous Sunday with all the trimmings and very fish and chips to boot! Highly recommended Went for evening meal 27th Feb 25. Lovely food. No complaints at all. The Rose and Crown hosted our 25th Anniversary party and they were outstanding. The food was fabulous and commented on by many, their flexibility on the room arrangements was superb. On the night the bar which consisted of Joe, Dan and Georgie were awesome. A big thank you to Rhianne and Jamie for hosting us. OMG xxx The best Sunday ever! Super large portion, had the trio roast, pork, beef & chicken, with pigs in blankets, crackling, yorkshire pud & stuffing! Five veg, plus complimentary cauli cheese, normally a side order you have to pay for…. Dan was an excellent host, and his team very attentive. Have recommended to friends & family to come too!
