Undoubtedly the very best Indian restaurant in the area . We have tried several dishes all were just amazing and tasty. Biryani and Grill dishes were fantastic. Definitely we have to give 5 star marks for its food and cleanliness. Staffs are very friendly as well . The restaurant is at very good location right next to A13 junction. Excellent service, the staff was very very attentive. The food was quite good. They tried to make it spicy enough for me, but my tolerance is very high. Shared some homemade chili salt with them, it was too hot for them. I had the evening here for a wake. The place itself was beautiful and it is set in a nice area. The food was also amazing, I had the prawn Kurma. My family all enjoyed their meals too and for most, it was their first time having Indian food! Highly recommend the food! However, the was not so great, we were rushed to order food and couldn't really enjoy our drinks without someone wanting to take a glass every few minutes. The attitude off of the younger member of staff wasn't great, I didn't appreciate him making nasty comments under his breath either. He probably thought he did it without anyone noticing, but I did. Other than that, the rest of the staff were polite and friendly. Thank you all! Family and I decided to order a takeaway from the Voujon tonight and we are so glad that we did. The food was absolutely delicious!! We all enjoyed our meals very much, especially the Chicken Biryani. The was also great and the staff were very helpful. I highly recommend The Voujon, Orsett. Thank you very much 😊 Ordered via website for delivery, and then waited for around an hour and a half, called them to ask where it is, only to be told they don't deliver and that it wasn't their fault repeatedly. Delivery is an option on the site, so why lie when we came and collected it? Bad customer service, and where the food was left for so long, it wasn't enjoyable. 1 star for very bad customer service. Edit: Business is trying to blame a third party delivery service, even though everything was ordered via their own website. Their FAQ even states they accept cash on delivery so they must deliver. Bad customer still, not willing to take blame. Absolutely fantastic restaurant, the staff were excellent and we felt comfortable and had a very good laugh, my wife had wanted to go to voujon for ages, she was not disappointed!!!!! Come here for a mid week meal (4 of us) and it was great. Food was lush and the was spot on. Shane and Kawsar were perfect during our meal, very efficient and polite. 10/10 would recommend. Went here for our anniversary and it was brilliant the food was out of this world the was impeccable.
