Nice bit of history to go with it that's on info boards dotted around. Beautiful place Such a lovely picturesque relaxing place. The walking trails here are just out of this world...! A must go and must see. We go here early at around 9am, so parking was not an issue at all (there were about 3 cars at the time!). We spent about 4 hours walking and soaking it all up, as there’s a fantastic forest to also walk through, but can be skipped to go straight across the beach front to the lighthouse. We got back to the car at around 13:00 and there were no spaces left at all. So, if you’re interested in walking, I would recommend getting here early and enjoying the morning in peace and quiet! Try to time it at low water you can walk around the rocks and see a couple of beautiful sandy bays.
