Probably my favourite campsite I've stayed on. The location and views were spectacular I stepped out of my tent and I could see the sea. The area was so quiet and peaceful. I thought this was going to be a basic campsite but I was pleasantly surprised the toilets and showers were very pleasant and clean and well stocked with soap and toilet paper. They also had a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for an extra fee also in the laundry room was a fridge a freezer a kettle and a microwave that were free to use which I think is a brilliant extra on a campsite as it meant we had somewhere to go and make a hot meal when it was raining outside. 46 per night That's not good !!! Maybe a rethink needed 20 pounds!is about right Showers outdated Needs to be updated Sorry not going back there not at that money We had booked this site for three nights in our camper. Booking is by phone which meant several missed calls on both sides. The fees were £50 a night with EHU/services. We paid it after the guy said “have you seen the website” so we were expecting something exceptional. On arrival we found our pitch which had been directed by an email with check in info and codes which was good to have. First impressions are that the grounds are untidy/ overgrown/weedy. It does need some TLC compared to the CAMC sites which are immaculate and cheaper. The views were of the sea but as someone else commented are all blocked by what looks like permanent tourers. We didn’t find any direct access coastal walks without going on the road. Shower room was good with a loo and sink inside but again, for top dollar, they need a refurb. Loo seat loose etc. old push taps. Someone else commented that the fridge was filthy. It was clean during our visit even though we didn’t use it. Location - but out of it. Nowhere to eat in walking distance but local to some attractions if you want to drive. The guy was friendly but very confused to how long we had been there, booked for and what we had paid for. All in all an ok stay. Would we come back - probably not. This site has perfect views if you are on the right pitch which almost makes up for the overly high fees and average facilities. Whilst I disagree with many reviews about the toilets and showers which I found to be extremely good, the dishwashing areas are hit and miss. Taps were disconnected which I only discovered after unloading my dishes but there is a single sink in laundry room. Having spent a week on 5 different sites paying £30 at each, I was surprised that this was £40 per night. But nevertheless enjoyable and very friendly. We stayed here for a 2 week stay in our tourer, first week of September. We chose our own pitch, beautiful with stunning views of the sea and mountains, even better that we could pitch our van whichever way we wanted, and of course we made sure we got the best view! Not ever been able to do that on any other site, in the 10 years we have been touring. The site is very well maintained, shower block and toilets are very clean, had no issues there. It has a dog exercise area which is fab.. our pouches loved it! The site is very peaceful and left to it. The surrounding area is just stunning, a few little beaches near by, and only a few miles down the road it a retail park everything you need. Lots of takeaways, restaurants nearby. We absolutely loved it here, it's definitely our new favourite place, and we will be definitely back next year!
