Magnificent experience. Enormous caverns, full of interest. Lively guide. Three hour is excellent value. It's advertised as two hours, but the whole experience was three. Excellent value as well at 12 euros. Super nice cave. They do concerts in there as well. Incredibly beautiful caves but we were disappointed with our tour. There was no intention to make it understandable if you weren’t fluent in French. The language was fast and talking commenced before everyone was gathered together at the different points. Two constantly crying babies and kids and dogs didn’t help. Very underwhelming compared to other guided tours like Grottes de Cougnac which were amazing. A great experience. We had a Wunder full Guide, so it was a pleasure to visit the cave. Thank you Mila for your perfect and the translation. My recent visit to the of Lombrives was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees, this offers a captivating blend of natural beauty, rich history, and an unforgettable adventure. The 2-hour guided through this immense underground labyrinth was a highlight of my trip. From the moment we entered, it was clear that the was designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind. The organization was excellent, striking a perfect balance between informative commentary and allowing us to absorb the cave's beauty. The was knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the cave's history and geology while ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and engaged. One of the aspects I particularly appreciated was the straightforward approach to the tour. There were no unnecessary frills, which kept the experience authentic and, importantly, very affordable. It’s rare to find such an impressive attraction that remains accessible to a wide audience without compromising on quality. The of Lombrives is one of the largest in Europe, with vast chambers, intricate rock formations, and even underground lakes. The natural beauty inside is breathtaking, with stalactites and stalagmites creating a surreal landscape. One of the most awe-inspiring parts of the was the Cathedral Room, a massive chamber that is so large it could fit a cathedral inside. The acoustics here were astonishing, and standing in this room felt like being in a natural temple, carved by the forces of nature over millions of years. If you're in the region, the of Lombrives is a must-visit. Whether you're a history buff, a nature enthusiast, or simply looking for an adventure, this offers something for everyone. The is well-paced, affordable, and deeply enriching, leaving you with a sense of wonder and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Awesome trekking place with family and you can carry baby as well... End of the you can find indian god Shiva .. From Tarascon city to lombrives cave 1. You can walk to save taxi cost ( it is not far but no walking path 2. Buy online ticket for the and ride ( you can buy tickets on counter as well) 3. Enjoy ride in mountain 4. Walk on mountain path and little climb on stairs to reach entrance 5. Enter in the ( any person or any kind of fitness) 6. You can rest when explain history ( hold point is more than 10 times) 7. Walk 500 meter in then around 150 stairs need to climb ( you can wait troops if you have a problem with stairs but but ask light switch to or you need to wait in dark with no mobile signal) 8. After troops come back you can continue trekking because it is smooth path now ( around 1.5 km) 9. Wear a jacket because 8-10 degree inside in cave.. 10. Trekking shoe is very useful as well....11. if you don't have a personal or rented car in advance booking then avoid trip plan on Sunday ..12. if you are traveling by then explain in advance about timing or keep enough time to reach station Huge and well worth a visit. We couldn't get an English or Spanish so unfortunately we missed a lot of interesting information. However, the two hours in the were still entertaining! It's pretty cold (around 15 with a 30 outside) Thank you for an amazing tour! We really enjoyed the visit, one of the most beautiful I've visited so far. 😊 And we had a really nice your for our in english. This is underpreciated. The whole trip took us 3 hours, it was pretty cold inside. Suitable for kids and dogs as well. Entrance fee is 12 euro + 2 euro per (its about 10min walk uphill), goes only one-way up. Totally worth it! We booked the Spanish on a Sunday in September, and it was great. We were a small group of 8 people. We had a very nice and well informed who knew about all kinds of details and history of this cave. It was fascinating and I learned a lot. 100% to recommend! Amazing catar athmosfere. Really recommend you to go and feel the magical and pure energy. The (in our case in Spanish) was really impressive. Fun, scientific, historical, everything. In particular she managed to maintain attention all the way by concealing details, making us find things, asking, etc. The other pleasant surprise was that the is not "heavily economically exploited", and it shows. Wow. Amazing cave. The sheer size is stunning. We went for a 2 hours guided and were not bored for a second. The 5h which goes deeper in the is probably best left for the more enthusiastic ones. In 2h you already see a lot. Our was great which helped a lot.
