Lovely canal side pub who allow a couple of motorhomes to park overnight. They have facilities for one to have electric hook up. Staff really friendly. Nice menu, the chicken schnitzelb was huge. All freshly cooked and very hot when served. You can walk part of the llangollen canal from here, and there is a national cycle route alongside. Great outside seating area too. 10/10 for food, service, staff, drinks. What a brilliant place. We visited on Sunday night for some food and drinks. The service was exceptional, staff were brilliant, especially the young girl who served us at the start! The inside was lovely, plenty of parking and a nice location. Food was just incredible, we had items from the Sunday menu (which is slightly limited but still plenty to choose from and something for everyone) - topside beef roast was great, so much beef, veg and potatoes under a large Yorkshire pudding. Gravy tasted amazing. Fish and chips were some of the best, crispy batter, chips were brilliant crisp and fluffy. Thank you for the great service! We would return here. Early doors after a good walk along the canal and quite quiet. Had a pint of cider and sat outside on the balcony. Soon filled up with Sunday diners and the smell encouraged me to try and order a meal. Unfortunately I hadnt booked and even though I was a lone diner, the girl told me that they couldnt put any further orders through for about an hour. I soon realised that this was due to a very large party all expecting their meals! It smelled and looked lush, and I will return! I recently visited The Dusty Miller and had an excellent experience. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a great meal. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area—you won’t be disappointed! Stopped in for a pint (which was good) after mooring up nearby and sat outside as we had our dog with us. Staff were and place was busy with locals which is good to see. The food here has great reviews and so will definitely return to try for ourselves. Called in for food and drinks on Saturday afternoon with plenty of parking we accessed via a ramp and footbridge bridge over to the pub where we received a welcome with choice of seating from bar area or dining area, dog if you're walking past with your furry friend. We enjoyed a tasty vegan burger with hand made chips and also a great beef bourguignon, room for pudding was filled with a Bakewell tart with ice cream and a real treat of a honey and whiskey panna cotta. Both were well presented and another empty plate was left, definitely will be calling again to watch the canal boats and walkers passing by Cute pub by the side of the canal. Dog too! Saw a sign saying they have event nights, including quiz night. Thank you. Stopped here on our narrowboat for a meal. The pub was quite busy with other locals and boaters. We sat in the restaurant side which was lovely. The service was excellent and the food was lovely, proper home cooked and tasty. Would definitely recommend. We had sausage and mash and the steak n ale pie.
