When we arrived here, I was no longer satisfied with the behavior of the waitress, but then she ruined everything even more. The waitress, having greeted us from somewhere in the hall, did not even get up to greet us; we had to go to her to look for the menu ourselves. Then we ordered food, and I asked for a glass of boiling water to dilute the medicine I was supposed to drink after eating. The girl brought boiling water and when she saw that I had diluted medicine in it, she began to be indignant that I could not drink it in a cafe. As a result, I had to take the medicine in one gulp before eating. We waited 30 minutes for food. Cevapchichi and the omelette were normal, the salad was made from stale vegetables and cheese, the fries were not fresh, only warmed up. the was unfriendly to us from the very beginning, with a dissatisfied face, as if we had disturbed her peace by coming here. but when some local guy came, she blossomed, began to smile and flirt with him, and returned to us with a straight face. Terrible food! Taste, preparation (burned)... and still is not cheap! We ordered (at around 21:00 on weekend) a vegan plate (see photo) and a burger (which is actually served deconstructed). French fries were the best among everything. Rice, cheese, vegetables - 🤢. Burger is very fatty. Wait time isn't the best either, but it isn't that bad. Warning: Google shoes 2 restaurants in the same building: Ukus Durimato and Gradska Kafanica. But that's same place!! Delicious food and warm ambience, the prices are also incredible. The only downsides would be the slow food service (30min wait average) and the music, it’s too loud. I asked twice to turn it down a little but still was loud. Vegetables in vegan plate were not fresh, boiled vegetable and rice felt like some leftovers that already spent a week in the fridge before being served, eating them could be dangerous :( Half of the veggies were cold as well and not seasoned. However, it was the worst place we ate at. We waited half an hour for the eggs, even though there was no one in the restaurant. I would never have thought that a simple food like eggs could go so wrong. Everything tasted like it was old, even the baked potato we had. The acted as if we were bothering her, and you could feel that mood in the food as well. I'm a person who eats a lot and I usually finish my girlfriend's food too, but here I wasn't even able to eat my own food. If we weren't so hungry, we wouldn't eat any of it. I had a sick feeling in my stomach all day after visiting this place. I don't know why someone opens a restaurant when they don't know how to do it and have no passion for it. They should shut it down immediately. The rating here is not understandable. We waited 90 mins for our order, the food was kept "warm" with tin foil before the only in the whole restaurant (who tried her best but had to run the whole place) brought it to us... One dish was not we ordered, all dishes were cold, the potatoes had no taste and instead of salt and pepper on the table we got sugar. Definitely not recommended from our experience. We went to another spot and then selected to return twice to the same spot here since we felt like Gradska Kafanica was more welcoming, friendly, kind, and 100% better with amazing FOOD! Everything was fresh, clean, and authentic !! After living in United States and NYC for 10 years if this spot was there it would have a line out the door or weeks to get reservation!!! My group of three all agreed that these were the best dinners we had on our 10 day trip. Andjela was wonderful and very friendly! She recommended desserts and day time activity’s. We had a wonderful time thanks to her. I would recommend coming here with your family or just yourself! When we asked for a menu, rude said no.
