Looking for something original on the island of Elba, we stumbled into ILPostale by chance, well I think it wasn't a coincidence, it transmitted very good energy to us and I must say that it was a wonderful discovery. When you enter and see its simplicity you cannot imagine what you find when you cross the long hallway. You suddenly appear in a garden where you can breathe a particular air, with truly original chairs and furniture (I leave the intrigue so that it surprises you when you arrive). All this surrounded by walls full of works of art makes it a very original and bohemian place. Also, if the day we went there was a music group and the atmosphere was captivating. Giovanna and Marica are very friendly and excellent professionals, the coffee is delicious, the croissant impressive and you can also come and enjoy this magical place with your pet 🐕 ❤️ 100% recommendable. Who would have told me on my first visit to the Island of Elba that I would be lucky enough to find a bar like Il Postale?!?! We spent a week on the island and decided to visit as many towns as possible. It was breakfast time and we were strolling through Procchio, and we went to the first bar we found, expecting to just have a coffee. What a surprise it was to see that I could have a delicious cappuccino made with soy milk!! But the surprise was even greater when the charismatic Giovanna told us that they also had vegan brioches. I never thought I would find a vegan breakfast in that little town. What a wonder!!! We had it in an incredible interior patio they have, where you have all the tranquility and privacy you desire. We were going to spend the day at the town's beach and saw that they also had some amazing-looking sandwiches, and of course, with vegan and vegetarian options as well. I still remember my wonderful lunch looking at the sea with a delicious sandwich (filled with a mix of amazing vegetables). All in all, the atmosphere is very good and the music that accompanies it is also great. As a curiosity, in addition to being a bar, it is an exhibition (and sales) area for works by a local artist.
