Nice small museum, worth a visit if you are interested in medieval battles (especially the battle of Agincourt). Seems to have fallen into a bit of disrepair in some places (some of the interactive exhibits were broken), film at the end wasn't working properly (but given a discount on ticket cost). Overall, had a good time! Good for history buffs. We enjoyed it and lots to listen to and see Such a breathtakingly good museum. The French definitely know how to put on a great display. It is respectful and expressive towards both sides of the battle. Incredible experience that was informative. The had effort put into it and it had some nice displays. Unfortunately a lot of the exhibits were not working/absent (the 360 experience screen went black every now and then, the long bow, crossbow testing activities were broken, the big screen didn't work, the armour to try on was absent and buttons for models didn't work.). As another review has mentioned the layout is a bit confusing and there is a distinct lack of authentic artifacts. Other reviews mentioned a discount to compensate for the parts of the museum. We didn't have any kind of discount. When we mentioned the broken/absent displays to the staff we weren't given any kind of apology or excuse but instead we received just a shrug! Oh well. Interesting and informative with friendly staff and a small, thoughtful gift shop. The battlefield perimeter is marked with iron silhouettes so good to drive round and stop at the memorial and information points. Explains the background to and the course of the battle in a very balanced way. Visit here before going to the battlefield site nearby for the site to make full sense - the Center has a very useful A4 map leaflet that helps with this too. Awful awful "museum". I really regret taking the time to visit this place as I found it a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Perhaps it is better when they have events/festivals on but I wouldn't bother to visit outside of these times. Keypoints: 1) There were MANY or missing exhibits 2) Most of the audio/visual screens were not working 3) The historical storyline is very difficult to follow and is up throughout the "museum" in a confusing manner 4) The English translations are very very poor and the English voiceovers are absolutely awful with a) most of them not working at all or b) multiple voices playing at the same time 5) I could only find ONE artifact from the battlefield which is a small spur, everything else is either a reproduction or something completely unrelated like a generic piece of medieval pottery. I use the word "museum" as they call themselves a historical center instead.. tomato tomatoes I say to that! I wasn't offered a refund/discount/apology despite complaining to the staff about the and missing things. Just got a shrug of the shoulders. This was one of the best museums we have been to, all the better for being open in November when other museums (the one in nearby Crécy, for example, having closed). Reasonably priced, it not only gave a brief, and unbiased, history of the Hundred Years War for context, but also explained the events leading up to Agincourt as well as describing the battle itself. Well worth a visit - it was a shame we were the only visitors on a weekday morning.
