We went to The Denholm Meet at lunchtime on a weekday. First of all, they do not have customer parking and finding a parking spot was a little difficult. The interior is very nice with lovely old style decor. It is a Cafe/Restaurant but it felt more like a cafe along with a meal menu. There is a good selection of Italian dishes on offer although the prices are quite steep. However, the food was superb. Service was nice but a bit hurried. Overall, it was very good. Went here for lunch midweek. Was surprised as there was no parking, the village was busy so finding parking was hard! The felt more like a cafe, but with prices, maybe it feels different in the evening! Having said that though the staff were attentive and the food was really tasty! Just had amazing meal at denholm meet had Alfonso with Garlic Bread and a Mocachino was delicious even brought my dog a water bowl out would definitely recommend it Good service, with a nice atmosphere. Large portions, reasonable pricing, everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and tasted delicious. Even though we had no room for dessert we still took home two of the fresh baked cakes to enjoy later in the evening. This is the second time we've been and it definitely won't be the last. The food simply didn’t live up to what you’d expect from an Italian — lacking the rich flavours and authentic gastronomical quality that define Italian cuisine. What was served felt quite basic and uninspired, especially considering the prices, which made the experience even more disappointing. The desserts, which I hoped might redeem the meal, also fell flat and added to the overall dissatisfaction. For the cost, I expected much more care, flavour, and authenticity.
