Beautiful open spaces; very well maintained; great training circuit for running, walking and outdoor gymming; a lot of thought gone into tree planting and protecting the environment (beautiful areas of unaffected grasslands). Also a great and safe area for children to run around and play in, and easy wheelchair accessibility. To those who maintain this great facility; keep up the great work. First time visit today and what a lovely day. Weather was amazing but that wasn't really up to Foxfield. Parkland was beautiful and well kept with lovely clear paths and clever mowing of walking paths. Very dog friendly and surprisingly empty. Free car at the football club. The cafe was lovely and staff very friendly.. Thanks Foxfield Great place to stretch your legs closer to nature Nice country with views across the open countryside or Northampton. Right on the edge of the town easy to get to and perfect for some exercise. pavilion and cricket pitch also a café with toilets. Lovely place for a dog walk. There's a bar that has been set up. Only during the summer months. It does get busy with people having a drink and watching cricket and football. Good path for disabled wheelchair/scooter users. Beautiful even in the winter months. Nice cafe there ! Plus great walk for the dogs or family fun 👍 Lovey little which has a 1.4 mile pathway around the edges. The path is hard wearing so good for children on scooters or bikes. Should be noted that due to the unseasonably heavy rain fall the is very muddy at the moment but normally is an easy walk. There is room for picnics and ball games as well as half of it being more natural for wildlife. The is extremely clean and well kept with dog bins along the path and lots of room for dogs to run about. Really nice clean parkland to visit and relax on a Sunday afternoon. Real hidden gem on the outside of the housing estate. There were a couple of youth football matches going on with very well mannered teams on the pitches. The Community Centre was open too, serving tea, coffee and snacks and was a overall a very cheerful place to be on a Sunday afternoon. Dog walkers had there dogs on leads and as the grass was well maintained, there can be no pretending the dog hasn't done a poop and there were bins present. Really nice place.
