Went here with my 8yr old son for a spot of lunch and to watch some planes. We had a very nice lunch, service was perhaps a little slow but it was busy. We saw a few taking off and a few landing. once it stopped raining we had a nice walk around looking at the that were parked up. Overall a great few hours. Lovely breakfast with an amazing view! Been wanting to come here for a while now and finally made the road trip out. Glad I did, loved watching the landing/taking off whilst eating some really decent food. Lovely location to stop for breakfast and watch the planes. Service was a little slow but this may have been down to what looked like new staff. Full English was great - really good locally sourced sausages and bacon, and proper butter (half the tomatoes had been eaten by my husband before I managed to get a photo!) Avocado and bacon on toast also good, especially with the chilli jam. My only quibble was that the menu specified doorstep toast and the actual toast was normal sliced bread thickness. Well worth a visit. The and the airfield never fail to impress. I flew in recently and the whole experience from the ATC to the team was amazing. Food is sensibly priced, a good choice and fast to be brought to the table. The has fabulous views even on the day I was there that was a bit miserable, in the coming weeks the terrace will be the best place in the UK for ‘Sausage Egg and Chips’ and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether flying in or driving, this is a great place to visit. This was our first time visiting today and we will be back soon! Easy parking, and you go up a short flight of stairs to reach the (there's also a lift if you need it) The ladies working today were absolutely fabulous, so friendly and helpful, our reserved table was in the middle of the room, but we were moved to a window seat so we could see take off. The food was served very fast and it was so fresh and delicious. I had the halloumi burger with chilli jam and fries, and my daughter had sausage, eggs and fries, (big meaty sausages) 10 out of 10 for location, service and food. This is also dog friendly, there's a basket with towels in when you first enter the building so if your dog is wet you can give him/her a rub down! Not flown in for over a year. In that time, The Flight Deck has gone from meh... to very good indeed. Now boasts an extensive menu & delicious food at very reasonable prices with amiable staff. The offers a fantastic view of the aerodrome, allowing guests to observe airplanes landing and taking off—a real treat for aviation enthusiasts. The staff was friendly and provided a good service. The food exceeded my expectations: the English breakfast was tasty and abundant! The only aspect that could be improved upon were the chairs, as I found them to be quite uncomfortable. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this for breakfast and lunch; it's an overall great place to dine. I went here a while ago now just got round to writing the review. I came with my son we ordered a rocky road and it was the most delicious cake ,it was plenty big enough to share with him and I had a hot chocolate at the time of our visit it was a cold but sunny day . My son loved watching the take off and land and looking in the hangers at some of the planes. It’s a place I’d definitely come back to as it’s a beautiful drive out from Milton Keynes ,although we did somehow get lost but a nice lady helped us out .
