I have been living in Sicily for a while and this was the best appetizer I have ever had. The service was impeccable. Nice environment, not even very crowded considering we just dropped by on a Sunday for lunch. Wine was decent, the salad was a bit salty, everything else perfect. It was a little disappointing when the coffee arrived in a plastic cup. 1 appetizer, 2 meat portions, 1 coffee = EUR 40 Wonderful place in the middle of no where. Traditional Italian food, you have to be patient when going to large groups. It is fine for the area since it is secluded and there is not much more to choose from in the area. Special for families. We had an antipasta platter, pasta and a main course all featuring black pig which is their specialty. Then he went outside and cut two heads of lettuce for a fresh salad. The service could not have been better, Nino took care of us and fulfilled every wish. The food and drinks was amazing, portions were good. I dont know if i every had better proscutto anywhere else.
