Spent an hour in here today merrily pushing £5 in 2p coins into a machine. I came out with two Rubik Cubes and a pair of ear buds and about 60p winnings in 2p coins. Not bad for an hour's worth of entertainment. Staff were helpful and friendly too. The place was clean. It's a fun way to spend 2ps. A nice-sized arcade. The staff were rude. Great to occupy kids for ahour For a place called Fun city could be much more fun. The little pirate themed mini gulf was cute because I like pirate themed things the guy at the front was also extra complimentary to me because I was a tourist 😂& that day there was old cars parked in front which made it more interesting. Nice way to pass a few moments but the 2p always seem to have the just so far out of reach that you'd have to spend a fortune to get a really cheap prize out. I swear they move them back after someone has been on them, as all the seem to be the same distance from the front, no matter which machine or time of day you go at! Firstly ALL the claw are an absolute scam. Half a dozen times I got a perfect clasp but when the claw retracts to the top it jolts HARD which always causes the to drop. Moving on from there: the 2p were fun. Absolutely no reason to play them as the only reason to play is for the prize and the are tiny 1£ trinkets. Still spent a few quid though because it was satisfying. Tons of other games around. My wife and I played the Walking Dead game in the back. Had a blast playing together for about 10 minutes. And it only cost us 1£ each. (Time ranges will vary on skill) Overall pretty standard place. Very colorful and fun way to waste an hour. Always good fun Upstairs is a fun place for the younger children. It is also quieter upstairs. We had fun on the 10 pin bowling alley, shooting basket balls, knocking targets down with balls and there are just a couple of the 2p tipping point machines! We had lots of fun there with our 8yr old grandson. Tired and shabby amusements, as others have said 2p machine far to far out of reach and the claw release at exactly the same point on retraction every time even with a perfect clasp of the toy. In my experience the neighbouring amusements had a better chance of winning on the 2p machines. Most if not all of the had one side blocked with pennies, lesson learned we wont be returning. Coronation street machine was rigged The claw are a scam, they have plastic panels on the bit where you drop the prize so you can't win it. The 2p are alright, although they are a cash grab as there's hardly anything in them. They managed to get my little brother to get addicted to it. I haven't much experience with the other games, but I assume they're the same. If you want a better arcade, go to the one next door to it. Great amusements! The best we have ever been to. It was so clean and staff were helpful. Upstairs was the best with bowling, dance and retro pinball.
