Our experience here was quite disappointing. We stayed for about an hour, and here are the issues we encountered: - At least two coin took our money but didn’t give us any change. - Two game accepted our money, didn’t work at all, and failed to return the coins. - Many were not turned on. - The bowling system malfunctioned; three strikes were bowled that didn’t register, and the same one pin was returned for the second go. Clearly an error in the machine. I understand that it’s all meant to be fun and games, but as far as arcades go, this was a poor experience. It felt like no one cared about the customers. The worst I've been to, this includes the other 2 next to it No tickets are given so there's no point in trying to get a high score or even playing a game. This is the only I've been in that doesn't give tickets I Tried changing a £10 note into change but three of the note changers that I tried to use were broken, I eventually found one that worked after 10 minutes of looking around. This includes looking around the other arcades All the 2p are old with barely any prizes in, not even any sweets so no point in playing. They have also set it up in a way that makes it harder for the coins to drop. Put a whole pound of 2ps in and only got a few back There were a fair amount of that were broke Don't waste your money here. There is an ice cream bar right in front with a lot of enticing flavors. Tried for different ones. All were delivered. Glad we asked for it in a cup as I could see the sanitary standards for filling a cone were not there. So if you order ice cream in a cone just don’t eat the cone. Nice arcade Really big and full of fun games. It is worth noting that it is not a ticket and to play most it is worth buying a tap tap card from one of the self serve machines. The 2p were very enjoyable and where we spent most of our time! However, the also had a a great range of VR which were very immersive and well enjoyed. The bowling was well received too, at just £3 per person! A great place to go if you have time to fill! We went in here on Sunday afternoon there was 6 adults and 3children so lots of money being spent especially at 1 particular grab machine the member of staff who had mid black hair Never Took Her Eyes of Us !!and stood Scowling at us the whole time on grab and spent over £30 on this particular machine you would think in this day and age they would be happy with our custom!!Will Definitely Not Be Returning next time in Whitby .Definitely dissapointed with our experience in this amusement arcade. Ice cream was fantastic but unfortunately it was ruined as the server used his bare hands, manhandled my cone without gloves, failed to wash his hands, and took no action to remedy this when serving my second ice cream. Further, they had no serviettes and we were given staff blue role upon request which was insufficient. After handling money the server proceeded to wipe ice cream up off the side of my cone before handing it to me. No consideration for health or hygiene which ruined what would have been great icecream.
