Stayed hear previously, lovely and furnished to a high spec but feel it's starting to show signs of wear and tear. The boiler kept turning on and off, flashing reset so you had to reset the boiler every so often for the hot water and heating to work. Some of the kitchen utensils felt like they hadn't been cleaned when we come to use them so had to them again, not a big deal but still. Other than that, a really nice stay. We had a brilliant at Applegrove Country Park in number 7. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days. The hot tub was lovely too. We would definitely here again. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a clothes maiden to hang wet costumes etc outside in the summer. But that is a minor thing, we would 100% recommend this place to anyone. We found the very when we arrived on Friday. We liked the idea of the key safe so we could get in. However we didn’t get the code for the gate or the before we arrived there. We found the cricket was very sparse and there were no glasses but we were brought some very quickly. I think it’s a shame that guests do not look after the eg all the marks on the coffee table and dining table. We did have a good time during the weekend. Arrived Friday for a 2 night for my husbands 60th birthday. Arrived at 8pm , on first glance the looked not too bad. TV was quite small but that was fine. We opened the prosseco only 1 wine glass. Accommodation is for 4 people. 3 cups, no coffee in the complementary tea tray, the kitchen tap wasn't fixed to any service and moved about freely. The sofa and chairs could of done with a steam to them up and the net curtain had a big rip . The shower was covered with black mould all around the bottom, nothing bleach and good scrub wouldn't of sorted. Second bathroom was unusable due to the smell of drains which was so bad it took your breath away. The double bed that we used had springs coming out of the mattress, the mattress should definitely be replaced, hence no sleep. Overall the whole outside of the needs rubbing down and painting, the steps to the hot tub have no anti slip surface just green mould wood. I wouldn't normally leave negative comments but when you have looked forward to a little break away from the stresses of daily life and to celebrate and special birthday, disappointed is the only word I have sadly We stayed at the 1 lux Harrington. I cannot fault the location absolutely breathtaking views and exactly what we needed. The only thing I felt that let it down was the is looking abit tired - stains on curtains and the material was coming away from the sofa. The hot tub could be covered over to make it useable in the rain. Other than that I cannot fault the and would definitely recommend ! Overall a lovely place to stay, quite and relaxing with a short drive to the beach front, hot tub was clean. The only downside was, the power went off and no one to get hold of as was a voicemail service only (that noone called back when i called) so we packed up ready to go home (just incase it didn't come back on) as it was getting dark, luckily another individual in the park let us know what was happening and the power came back on around an hour later. However we would in the park again 😊 this was our second visit to applegrove park Absolutely perfect 👌🏻 was a bit concerned seeing the previous reviews but both me and my hubby couldn’t fault our few days staying here. We stayed in Nature 5, it was & had everything we needed for our short break.
