Nice café. Good stop for a hike. Friendly people. Delicious pastries. There was vegan options as well. Great little tearoom cafe - reasonably priced with a decent menu. I had a full English breakfast with 2 butchers sausages, 2 bacon, egg, tomatoes mushrooms, toast and a pot of Yorkshire tea for £13 which I think is excellent value for money and a very good quality breakfast The lady that owns the tea room is very welcoming and friendly and also very helpful about the local area. I've already ordered a cream scone for lunch which I'll come back for later today. highly recommended 🙌 A brilliant place to stop whether you are cycling or walking along the cinder trail or Cleveland way. We have been stopping there over the past 5 years and the service is always with a smile and great tea/coffee and hot chocolate along with some lovely cakes! Not a huge amount of space inside but with an extra room and all the outside area it's never really an issue. Very nice tearooms. Was really busy when visiting. Allows dogs and serves breakfast, various sandwiches, etc, as well as hot and cold drinks. Ice cream also to finish. Plenty of seating outside and inside to upstairs. Lovely tearoom frequented by walkers, cyclists, horse riders. Fresh food, home baking, hot & cold drinks. Tables inside and out. Quiet setting. Excellent little tearoom, they do the best Hog Rolls ever so deffo recommend trying one. I had: Full English Breakfast (Large) 1 Hog Roll 1 Caramel Slice 2 Iced Lattes Excellent pork pie, hog roll and cakes all washed down with a pot of tea. Lovely place and the ladies working there. Great location, with friendly service. Called in for coffee and cake whilst out for a walk. Highly recommended.
