Scarborough Harbour

Scarborough, United Kingdom Marina

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. We went for the Goldwing lightshow. It was great, very busy. Went to see the Spanish Gallon Nao Victoria moored up in the harbour for 1 week. This reproduction of the vessel that circumnavigated the globe in the 1500, lovely glimpse back in time. What a beautiful harbour. 3 different routes around the harbours. Lovely views and scenic photos are a must here. We stopped on the visitor moorings for 2 nights. Its a fab marina. Decent enough facilities. Nice pontoons. All the staff were friendly. The berthing master Chris was fantastic. Looked after us and made us really welcome. We had an awesome stay here. Visited September 2018 - Scarborough lives up to every fondly-celebrated cliché. Tangy, salty, moisture-laden air carries the low tide’s waft of seaweed on rocks. Lobster pots and trawlers line the harbour, their crews still speaking in gravelled voices worn by weather and tide. Alongside them: fish and chips, whelks, and the hum of gaudily-lit arcades spilling light into dusk. Beyond the quay rise resorts of long-tired grandeur, echoes of when Scarborough was the nation’s first seaside spa. It is, at once, the working port and the pleasure pier - the quintessential northern seaside town. Lots of great things to do, take a pirate ship, grab some fish & chips, play in the casino or arcade...so much stuff What a lovely place to visit. The decor and atmosphere were really good. Took us back to sunny summer holidays here and in the U.S. The owner was there on our visit being interviewed by BBC Look North which provided extra interest. Quality ice cream treats and drinks. Brings back alot of happy memories of childhood holidays. Sad to see alot of the big fishing boats away Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
