This is a very picturesque setting, with the castle on one side and the mountains behind the lake. We were there for the night market which had a lot of different food options on offer. We managed to.leave just before the fireworks which was a shame, I am told that they were very good. Nice little lac with somewhere to get food which isn't over priced.. Small sandy beach and the water looked very clean.. also a life guard on site. Grass area so you can have a picnic or play games... public toilet however this being France you know it's a hole in the floor! There is a small hut where you can get drinks or ice cream and a few bits which was good or you can get a meal for a good price and very nice! Also if you have a meal you can use the decent toilet but you have to get the key from the hut. Good food for price. Lovely sitting by the lake watching the ducks. Dogs welcome. Bit basic seating area inside, however, raining n chilly so was happy to be under cover. Lovely place to relax with the family. A very picturesque location with a snack bar selling the usual beach refreshments. However be warned the toilets are horrendous 🤮 I had some tasty mussels at the Wednesday night market, and believe this takes place regularly in the summer. Fairly easy to get to. Parking right next to the lake, very handy. Ideal for a picnic although cafes available. Swimming in the lake recommended - views of the hills surrounding makes for an ideal location. We visited during the Wednesday evening market. Fab food stalls and paddling opportunities for the children. Giant mutant catfish nibbled my toe here! Very stimulating!
