There is a 15 km circuit walk of the which is lovely. For the most part you are walking right along the shore, with forest/ woodlands next to you. Very pleasant and an easy, flat stroll. This is a reservoir and supply for nearby towns, and it's level rises and falls significantly during the year. We've been there during a draught and the level was very low at that point. A large portion of the muddy lakebed was exposed and you had to walk through it to get to the itself. The was very warm and still, but we did not go to swim, it was a bit too warm and still and murky to our liking. The shores are very bendy and it has several islands it seems. We walked to one of the islands across the mud strip, so it wasn't an island technically as the level dropped so much. Overall an interesting place to visit, though we probably would not need to go there again. Nice lake, lovely nature, nice camping 😊 Very pretty lac, beautiful views. Very tranquil.
