The venue is lovely, but the service leaves much to be desired. It's a shame, really, because the venue could definitely be a destination worth making the trip for. What a lovely Sunday lunch. Booked for two today and couldn't have been better. Beef was superb and succulent and the veggies cooked to perfection. Rounded off with two pints of red bitter. Highly recommend if you're seeking a traditional village pub atmosphere with food and service.
