For dessert we had the cake of the day, a very moist and quite perfect traditional cream sponge cake. Can´t complain about the food, but the service... now that was something else. Asked for a glass of Cotes du Rhone red wine, but the waitress came out with a bottle of the house vine, poured a completely full glass, and left without explanation. We also didn't get the pepper sauce, and after the waitress delivered the food, she disappeared into the kitchen and didn't come back for quite a while. On our last visit, we had open sandwiches for lunch, I choose the steak sandwich, and my wife had shrimp sandwich. Both were excellent. The staff was also very friendly, Veldig sjarmerende sted... A picturesque villa, with even more stunning food. I arrived at Villa Sandvigen with my daughter and we were welcomed very warmly and were taken very good care of the entire lunch. Our waitress, Astrid, was very friendly to my daughter and offered her some bread as she was very cranky -- Astrid was very helpful! I had the peppercorn steak -- perfect medium rare, sublime! My daughter had the Monte Carlo Club sandwich and she very much enjoyed it. Everything came out quickly and fresh, great care and attention was put all details of the meal.
