It was quiet but we were well served and the food was fine and reasonably priced. Had a meal today the steak pie was fantastic well done to the chef. It has a vibe to it and the staff today were realy friendly and helpful. They brought my dogs water and gave them biscuits and interacted with them which they loved. Its a realy wee place. We will be back again Food was ok. Nothing special. We were at a function and food was a little cold but the waitress was working alone and chef ended up helping serve. Service was great but bit disappointed by the just alright food. Wouldn't return I'm afraid Went here for the 1st time before Stereofunk festival, had fish n chips and burger n chips, food lovely, service great, very chatty and helpful waitress helped us with where best to park near the park too. Decor could do with a wee upgrade, but other than that, food and my husband said a very pint too. Had my wedding reception here last Friday and it was amazing, we asked to decorate the hall the day before and Ann the owner was completely fine with it, the food was and so flavourful and the DJ was too, made me and my wife really happy with picking here as we were not sure and Ann had helped us the full way with the reception. If I had anything negative to say, I would but there is nothing negative here, the barmaids are polite and extremely helpful. And the chef's were as well. I will definitely come back here for a meal some point with my wife and possibly even have our anniversaries here. 10/10 service and everything else ranging from cheap drinks and food. The drinks were cheap and very and I definitely do recommend coming here and having a party/wedding here as it's honestly an atmosphere Won't be back Poor Manu First time of being there and was impressed. A place ideal as a wedding venue. Staff were attentive but not in the way. Food was delicious and as not a massive room it had a cosy atmosphere... Loved it! 3rd Visit. All Visits have been great. Girl behind the bar is polite and takes care of you. I never have to wait around for another drink. Food is good, well presented and very reasonably priced. The owner (I think) is also pleasant, lady to chat with. Dog friendly. They have little handmade dog biscuit's where the proceedings go to a cause. Great establishment !! Dog friendly and obviously a popular place for dogs to visit! Had a afternoon here. Was booked for a 70th birthday for 16 adults and 6 children. We were in the conservatory area. The food was ordered in advance and was lovely. Great relaxed atmosphere and service was and very friendly. Would definitely recommend. One.of my favourite places to eat. place for a meal. Very friendly staff and owned by a fantastic couple. lunch Took my 80 year old mum in, young girl took us to a table that was wonky, she tried for about five minutes to stick stuff under it before moving us to another table ,only another table in so don’t know why she didn’t just do that to start with, this one had mud all under the table so sat with my seat away from the table. My mum has a small appetite so she asked for half a of soup and a ham toastie, she was told she would be charged for a full which we said wasn’t a problem, I found a brush and shovel to clear the mud up when the young girl came over and said” here and I’ll get that for you doll”, she comes back ten minutes later she comes out with my mums food,a full of soup and a toastie, chef said just eat what you can, we’ll that’s great chef but when we ask for half a how about giving us half a bowl, firstly it’s a waste, secondly it’s not what she asked for and thirdly it’s annoying, she has tremors and her hands shake terribly so she doesn’t like it being so full incase she accidentally knocks it over, lots of people may ask for a small for a child who they are trying to let the child feed themselves so when a customer asks for something perhaps just do what they ask. Was extremely happy to leave, must admit though that another member of staff was just starting as we were leaving, older than the young girl and she was lovely, lovely smile on her face, just a shame we hadn’t been served by her. Looks like it could be a place if you cleaned the place up a bit and changed your chefs attitude. partner and I went in to ask about having a wedding meal. Gave our details and still never heard anything back from them! I have told family and friends not to go for a meal! Obviously they don't need the business!!
